Birthday Blossoms and Painted Petals

Hi Everyone! I have been working on this card for a couple of days. It is very much out of my comfort zone!

I am not one who stamps an image multiple times for a back ground, I usually find it to be too busy.

It took me days because I couldn't figure out what sentiment and how I wanted it. At first I was thinking of some sort of banner. Glad I picked the Scallop and Circle Punches.

Flowering Flourishes and Painted Petals

Hi Everyone! Inspiration for today's card came from a card that I received. I used the same colours (Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White), and then I CASED the banners.

Both images are stamped in Blackberry Bliss, then I added the gold sequins. Then punched out the sentiment and the gold glitter banner using the banner punch, and attached them using dimensionals. I love the richness of this card and how it all came together.

Sheltering Tree 'Thank you'

Hi Everyone! Seems like a lot of thank you cards lately! Well, that's because I am so thankful for all the people in my life and I love telling them! This one is because some friends of ours lent us a plug adapter for our sons travel out of country. I know the adapters aren't all that expensive, but we don't travel so I couldn't justify the money. To make a long story short he had a great time and is back in Canada = one happy maman!

Here is the card that I sent them.

3x3 note cards

Hi Everyone! Today, I have little 3x3 note cards to share with you. The other day I needed to write a little note to a friend and I didn't have anything! Seriously, I make cards and I didn't have one note card that I could use! Not good! So, I went straight to work. This is what I came up with. You don't have to put a greeting on them at all. Sometimes you need just a blank little card.

This is the front of the box, which I made using the envelope punch board, the box that is.

Painted Petals

Hi Everyone! Today is the first day of March break for us! (I'm doing a little happy dance right now!) We are sticking around for the week, what is everyone else up to? Hopefully, I will be able to get to my craft room at least once!?

Anyways, I have for you a Thank You card using the Painted Petals stamp set. I just love this set. It's like I've used different colours to get the shading of the flower when all I did was use one colour! I am thinking of adding a small butterfly to the top right hand side, or rhinestones, haven't decided yet. What do you think?

Lotus Blossom

Hi Everyone! Today, I have for you a card that I did for a swap. (A swap is when you trade cards that you have made, that are all the same to other people. Usually between 10-20 people). We had to use new product either from the Sale-A-Bration catalog or the new Occasions catalog.

This is one of the free stamp sets that you can earn right now! With every $60 order from the new Occasions catalog or the regular catalog, you get one FREE item to choose from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. So much fun and so many really great things to choose from!

The supplies I used for the card are:

Paper colours: Smokey Slate for the card base, Rose Red for the second layer, then Whisper White. You can't tell in this photo, but there are 2 scored lines that run right under the flower boxes and right above the 3 rhinestones. I wish I had another photo to show the detail, less learned!

Stamp sets: Lotus Blossom, greeting is from Painted Petals

Ink: Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Smokey Slate

Accessories: Rhinestones, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, 1" Square Punch, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions let me know!~
