Oh, Hello!

Hi Everyone, or should I say oh, hello!!!

I know I have said it many times before and I am going to say it again, use your catalogue for inspiration! That's what it is for! You don't have to copy it exactly.

This is one I cased from our catalogue using different stamps. I used it as a sketch.
Honeycomb Happiness, Work of Art

You could change the tree to an: ice cream cone, heart, star, flower, etc!

Find a layout that you like and make it your own!

Always Thinking of You!

Hi Everyone! We FINALLY have beautiful weather here! I am just itching to get to my gardens~ How about you??

I have to tell you a little story...

So, the other day I sat down at my desk all ready to work on a card.

Guess what!??

My Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer was missing! The world is coming to an end!

I couldn't find it any where.

Of course panic is setting in... then I remember I was over at a friends house Friday night using it.

I ask her if she has seen it. Nope, she never found an extra one.

Really starting to panic now, you know heart palpation's, shortness of breath and everything! I ask her to please check again!

Guess what!? Yep, she had it! All smiles and sunshine now!

Here is my card for you today. I saw this sketch on Pinterest and knew I had to recreate it.

thinking of you

This is one of those sketches that is perfect for using up small pieces of DSP, that we all have!

I did not use any Dimensionals on the circles, because I wanted the banner to be the main focus.

Gift Tag Cutie!

Hi Everyone! This cute little card only measures 3" x 3", perfect for a gift tag! I love making these!

My mom used to give them out with presents instead of regular size cards. They are so easy to attach to any gift.

happy birthday, DSP Have a Cuppa

Plus, they are so easy to make if you are pressed for time (you know, when your kids come home and say they need a card right away!)

DSP Have a Cuppa, happy birthday

As not to loose the tea cup because the DSP so busy, I used our 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch in Bermuda Bay to give it a solid back foundation. Of course I used Dimensionals!

I just have to say, isn't that tea bag just so cute!

Flowering Fields

Hi Everyone! For today's card I am using one of the FREE stamp sets you can get through Sale-A-Bration right now (need more information please send me a message).
a dozen thoughts

If you like to colour than this is a stamp set for you! I also added Wink of Stella and it looks amazing! It adds just the right amount of glitter.

a dozen thoughts

I was going to put a bow on this card, however there is absolutely no room for one. So, I just went with a ribbon running through the back.

The squares are popped up with dimensionals. The Pearls on each square ties it all together.

Supplies:

Paper:
Whisper White 11" x 4 1/4"
Rich Razzleberry 5 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White 5" x 3 3/4"

I knew the new DSP (designer series paper) Love Blossoms would be perfect for her card, and the new Sale-A-Bration stamp set Botanicals For You matches wonderfully.

Sky is the Limit

Hi everyone! Today's card is all about the Free stamp set you can get during Sale-A-Bration (if you need more information please send me a message).

happy birthday

As soon as I saw this set, I knew it would be mine! I love everything about it, from the font style - to the images.

happy birthday

As an added bonus it goes really well with the World Embossing folder, and the Tree Builder punch (makes great clouds). That is why I love Stampin' Up! so much. They have done all the coordinating for you.

I guess I should probably tell you how I made the card!

First I cut all my pieces, then I brayered the World Embossing Folder with Soft Sky, ran that through the Big Shot.

Stamped my Birthday greeting in Night of Navy, then assembled all the layers.

I punched out the clouds in Vellum using the Tree Builder Punch. I adhered them with a glue pen. Make sure you put the glue in unnoticeable spots.

Stamped the plane and the tail clouds on a separate piece of Whisper White in Night of Navy as well. A little bit of Fussy cutting and they were done.

For the propeller I used the Small Flower Punch, then trimmed it to look one. Pierced a whole through the propeller and the plane, then added the silver brad. Of course the plane has Dimensionals behind it. There you have it!

Supplies:

Paper: Whisper White 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", Night of Navy 4" x 5 1/4", Smokey Slate 3 3/4" x 5", Whisper White 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", Vellum and extra Whisper White

Inks: Soft Sky, Night of Navy

Stamps: Sky is the Limit

Accessories: Tree Builder Punch, Glue Pen, Brayer, World Embossing Folder, Brad, Small Flower punch, Dimensionals, Big Shot
