Is your Garden in Bloom?

Hi Everyone! So... that retiring list is LONG!!! But, don't worry the new catalogue is worth it - trust me!!

What have you picked off the list? My first choices where the rest of the circle punches that I did not have (only about 2 of them). I just can't wait to get my hands on the NEW stuff!

Anyways... today's card is a bright and cheery one, I needed a little brightness on these dark, cold and dreary Spring days (it almost feels like fall!).

Tiny tags, hello, happy birthday

I just love my dimensionals! Some under the squares and under the cute little tag.

A cheery Thank you card

Hi Everyone! Today's card is a bright and cheery thank you card, using the Apple of My Eye stamp set. Who knew that you could  make a really cute thank you card out of fruit!

This is my February Thank You card to my customers. I love sending them out!

Did you know that the 1 3/4" circle punch works wonderfully with the fruit! No cutting! (You do have to cut out the pear and the apple).

What have you made so far with this Apple of My Eye set?

Supplies:

Paper:
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" cardstock
5 1/4" x 4" cardstock
5" x 3 3/4" cardstock

You will need extra Whisper White for the fruit and some Rich Razzleberry that goes behind the greeting.

Here are the supplies I used:

Inked Embossed Folders

Hi Everyone! Today's cards are all about the technique - Inked Embossed Folders. I have 3 different cards to share with you using this really cool technique.

For this technique you ink up your brayer then run it over one side of your embossing folder. Usually the top side of the folder. Then you run it through your Big Shot (or whatever you use). When it comes out, the ink is transferred to the shallow part of your embossed piece.

Same technique, yet 3 completely different cards! To take this even further you could always sponge the raised part of each image, to give it more detail. I did that on this card, this one and this one.

Which one is your favorite? I think I will have to go with the Woodland one. I absolutely love the Soft Sky in the back ground. I love how peaceful it is.

Oh Happy Day!

Hi Everyone! Guess what I saw this morning? The biggest and most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen! Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me, otherwise I would have shared it with you. God is great!

The card I have for you today uses the new Flower Patch set. It certainly takes some getting used to. With the polymer stamp sets you really need something under your cardstock to help you get a nice clear image. I used my Stampin' Pierce Mat, what a difference that makes!

The colours that I used are Sahara Sand, Whisper White Daffodil Delight, Black Stazon, Crisp Cantalope, Strawberry Slush. Old Olive, Certainly Celery (retired), Coastal Cabana. I think the rhinestones just finished it off. Enjoy!

Hi Everyone! Did you all have a great long weekend? It was so nice to spend time with the family!

Today, I have for you a MOJO346 card. I haven't played along for some time. The inspiration for the colours came from Stampin' Up!. They put together these colour combinations to really challenge you. I really liked these colours and when I saw the sketch from MOJO, it was a match made in heaven... okay, at my craft table really!
