Sending Wishes Your Way...

Hi Everyone! Today I am showcasing another card I made using paper from the Affectionately Yours DSP paper pack. I love our Stampin' Up! paper packs, because all the work is done for you. They give us the list of colours that they use in each paper pack so that we don't have any miss matched colours! Brilliant and so easy!!

This card has a Crumb Cake base with a piece of Night of Navy embossed using the retired Perfectly Polka Dot Embossing folder.

Sending wishes your way, Happy Birthday, Anniversary, best wishes

I used the Triple Banner punch for the banners. It makes them perfect every time!

Sending wishes your way, Happy Birthday, Anniversary, best wishes

The ribbon is in Crumb Cake.

Sending wishes your way, Anniversary, Happy Birthday, best wishes

The greeting is hand stamped in Night of Navy on a Crumb Cake decorative label.

Sending wishes your way, Happy Birthday, Anniversary, Best Wishes

Yes, I used Dimensionals to pop everything up!

Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions let me know!

Happy Stamping!

Butterfly Basics Case

Hi Everyone! So how many times have you looked over the new catalogue and each time found something new and exciting!? What does your wish list look like? Ever thought of Hosting a party to get those things on your wish list? There are different ways to host a party. If you are interested in hearing more about them, please send me a message at stampingwithmarsha@gmail.com .

I have personally been over it a million times! I keep finding new and exciting things!

Today's card is all about finding those new and exciting things. On one of the pages I found a beautiful Mini Treat Bag all fancied up and I just knew that it would make an amazing card. So, guess what I did? Yep, I cased it!

One of Stampin' Up! sayings is CASE = Copy and Share Everything! That's what I did!

Sending you Wishes, Happy Birthday

I have no idea what colours they used, I guessed. Normally I would have changed at least the colours, but I really liked the original. Thanks for sharing, whomever made the original!

Don't you just love all that detail! I wrapped the linen thread around both butterflies. The tag, I made myself by just cutting off a little on the ends.

And yes, I did use a Dimensional on this card. Under the tag!

Hi Everyone! Sale-A-Bration has unfortunately come to an end for another year. I hope you stocked up on all the wonderful free stuff they were offering!

Timeless Elegance

Hi Everyone! The other day, that wonderful big brown truck showed up with a wonderful brown box just for me! You know what I'm talking about... the UPS truck! I love it when that happens!

So, I ordered some DSP (I should have order more!) and other things of course.  I finally got the Timeless Elegance DSP paper. Wow! It sure is beautiful! I wonder what took me so long in ordering it.

DSP timeless elegance

The DSP comes in Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Sahara Sand. It is just beautiful!

I took my sponge dauber and some Real Red ink and sponged in the flowers. I just love how it turned out! I also sponged around the edges in Real Red.

I have never used the butterfly from the Butterfly Basics stamp set - I know what you're thinking! It's true, I just couldn't figure out how to use that butterfly.

Well, I challenged myself to make a card using it. I CASEd it from millions of others that are very similar. I have to work on it! lol

Seriously that butterfly is hard to work with! Okay, for me at least! Maybe because of the pattern on it.

Not sure how many cards/projects I have made with this stamp set so far. I should really go and take a count. You might be getting sick of it by now!

I don't know what it is about this DSP and the stamp set. I just love it! How about you? Are you find many ways to display this great set? I have yet to use the embellishments - that will be my next challenge!

This card is based off of a sketch from Julie Davison. I highly recommend trying sketches. It gets your mojo going! lol

Supplies:

Paper:
4 1/4 x 11" cardstock
3 1/4 x 4 1/4" cardstock

Hi Everyone! Another Card with DSP and a sketch found on Pinterest. I strongly suggest that if you would like to challenge yourself a little more. Search Pinterest or other sites for card sketches and see what you can do. You don't have to have everything the exact same as the sketch, make it your own.

DSP and Butterfly Basics

Hi Everyone! Grey, foggy and miserable here so far today... great day for crafting!

Today's card has come from one that I saw on Pinterest. To be honest I am not one that uses DSP on my cards very often. I find it to be too busy most of the time, however I think this worked out really well. Plus it goes with the really grey day!

butterfly basics

Whisper White cardstock for the base, with layers of DSP (Basic Grey and Basic Black). I used the Banner Triple punch for the sentiment, and the little white flags are made using the small Banner punch. Then I added the button and Bakers Twine.

Took me while to figure out which DSP went where, because like I mentioned earlier that I don't usually put DSP on my cards. DSP = Designer Series Paper

Best Thoughts

Hi everyone! Today's card is from the hostess set Best Thoughts and Basic Butterflies (sentiment). I absolutely love the flower, okay I like all the stamps in this set.

I started off by embossing the flower and the butterfly using basic black embossing powder, so that I could colour them with my blender pen. The colours are a little softer when you use the blender pen which is what I was going for.

The flower is Island Indigo and Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz for the stems and leaves, while the butterfly is Melon Mambo.

I think the pearls add an elegant touch. You can't see them very well in the photo below, but there are 4 on the card with one in the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by, and if you have any questions let me know!
