You're in My Thoughts

Hi Everyone! Today's card started out a little different from the vision that I had for it.

Meaning, that I had a bunch of butterflies in colours from the Regal family to be placed all on one side, going up the card.

However, when I had the sentiment on and was going to place all the butterflies up along the side, it just didn't look right~

This is what I came up with instead!

So much more elegant, clean and simple.

Papillon Potpourri, thinking of you

Don't you just LOVE the Butterfly with the Rhinestone trail?

I tried to do a loop de loop with the Rhinestones but it didn't work.

Papillon Potpourri, thinking of you

Besides, I think this is just the right amount of Rhinestones.
What do you think?

You Made My Day!

Hi Everyone! It has been ages since I took out these 2 stamps sets, let alone used them together!

A dozen thoughts, gorgeous grunge

I love how you can bend the wings slightly on the butterfly to simulate that it is flying. And of course the Rhinestones on the body give it lots of bling!

Gorgeous Grunge, A dozen thoughts

This is one of those cards that you use as a sketch.

Example:

1. Change the Gorgeous Grunge to leaf stems and the butterfly to a flower, sentiment Thank You.

2. Any back ground stamp and a balloon, sentiment Happy Birthday.

3. Instead of a stamp you could use banners, sentiment Congratulations.

These are just a few ideas that I have come up with just sitting here!

I would love to see what you came up with!

Supplies:

Paper:
Strawberry Slush (retired)
Whisper White

Inks:
Strawberry Slush (retired)
Pink Pirouette

Sheltering Tree 'Thank you'

Hi Everyone! Seems like a lot of thank you cards lately! Well, that's because I am so thankful for all the people in my life and I love telling them! This one is because some friends of ours lent us a plug adapter for our sons travel out of country. I know the adapters aren't all that expensive, but we don't travel so I couldn't justify the money. To make a long story short he had a great time and is back in Canada = one happy maman!

Here is the card that I sent them.

Potted Plants

Hi Everyone! Today's card is for one of my wonderful neighbours. You see, I live by really great people, who like to help each other out. The other day I was out back with my daughter and my lovely neighbour stopped to say 'hello'. Somehow the conversation lead to flowers and the next thing you know we are in her backyard admiring her beautiful flowers. Then I ask her for advise on some of my own flowers. Well, that turned into her helping me re-pot some plants with her potting soil. So, I just had to make her a 'Thank You' card!

stampin up

Here is a close up of the center of the card so you can see the detail better. I wish there was a way to get the stem of the plants coming out of the dirt better. (I'm a bit of a perfectionist, if you didn't know already!)

The pots are actually made from a Quickutz die. Not sure if anyone remembers what those are! It is the ice cream tub, modified of course!
