With sympathy...

Hi Everyone! I have one of those cards to share with you today. Yep, a sympathy one!

Part of me really doesn't like to make them, but the other part really wouldn't want someone to get a store bought one, especially during difficult times.

Petite, Petals, Teeny Tiny Wishes

I find with Sympathy cards, Clean and Simple is the way to go.

The embossing folder Perfect Polka Dots (retired unfortunately!) goes perfectly, especially with the little pearls added to the small flowers.

Basic Black 3 3/4" x 5"

Teeny Tiny Wishes

Accessories:

A little sympathy

Hi Everyone! Today's card is kind of a sad one...  sympathy. Unfortunately something happens and we need to send these kinds of cards.

petite petals

When I find a really beautiful greeting/sentiment stamp I keep them. I think they are timeless. I have no idea where I got this one, I have had it for many many years.

As for the leaves they are from Stampin' Up!, (retired of course) but you could use any leaf stamp and the flowers are from Petite Petals.

The colours are Crumb Cake for the base of the card, Old Olive for the leaves and Daffodil Delight for the flowers. The greeting/sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso.

Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions let me know!

Happy Stamping!

Woodland and Papillon Potpourri

Hi Everyone! Today's card is all about butterflies and the amazing new Woodland embossing folder.

Inspiration for this card came from all the Monarchs migrating to Mexico for the winter. This time of year you will see them crossing the great lakes or at the shores, hiding in trees waiting for great weather to cross. Very magical.

The colours are Soft Sky, Whisper White, and Pumpkin Pie (I also used my sponge dabber with Crumb Cake and just went lightly over the trees, to give them more dimension). All the butterflies are embossed with basic black embossing powder, then coloured them with my blender pen in Pumpkin Pie. Then punched them out using the small butterfly punch.

I tried to put a greeting/sentiment on the front but it just didn't work. No worries, that's why you have an inside! This card could be used for any occasion really; Birthday, Congratulations, Encouragement, Sympathy, etc.

Thanks for stopping by, and if you have any questions let me know.

Happy Stamping!

Flower Shop

I have this little beauty for you today. I absolutely love the Flower Shop stamp set. Six different flowers, plus there is a punch to match! What more could a girl ask for. Don't answer that! This one is a sympathy card, but you could always change the colours and the greeting to suit your needs. Could make a beautiful Spring Birthday card, especially after this really long Winter!

Wetlands

stampin up

The card I have for you today is from the stamp set Wetlands. Another one of my favorites. I love it because it has 3 images and 3 sayings. When you look for a stamp set you want to be able to make lots of cards or other creative projects (tags, scrapbook layouts, etc.) out of one stamp set. This one does just that! Hope you love it as much as I do!

The card is made of Marina Mist, matted with Baked Brown Sugar, and matted again with Whisper White. I stamped the with reeds with Baked Brown Sugar and the goose over top with Early Espresso, and the greeting in Marina Mist.
