Happy Father's Day

Hi Everyone! Not sure if you remember the other day I mentioned that I needed to make 3 Father's Day cards, but there was a sort of catch; 2 of them need to be in French and 1 in English. So far I have made one in French and this one in English. Only 1 more to go!

Woodland Embossing folder, happy father's day

My dad loves white birches, so I thought the Woodland Embossing Folder would be perfect for his card.

Sunflowers!

Hi Everyone! Now that Spring is sort of here (it's freezing today!), the Magnolia trees are in bloom, my little cherry tree has buds on it and the birds are back. So, I think Spring is here!

Since Spring is on my mind, that means so are my flowers and my gardens. I can't wait to get planting!

Which brings me to the Botanical Builder Framelits set. I knew I wanted to make some Sunflowers with this amazing set. You can make any type of flowers with them. Your imagination is the limit! (Last week I made Forget-Me-Nots!)

Tractor Birthday Card

Hi Everyone! Today's card is a little different, it is all punch art! My father-in-laws' birthday is coming up and my hubby thought it would be really cool if I could make him a tractor on a card just like his real one.  I am always up for a good challenge! lol

Here is what the real tractor looks like.

Gold and Black Anniversary

Hi Everyone! Today's card is an Anniversary card, but the colours have nothing to do with the Anniversary. Let me explain!

The couple who is going to get this card, have a favorite hockey team (not mine, that's for sure!). The love the Boston Bruins (we are Canadian fans here!). So I thought it would be fun to make them an Anniversary card in those colours.

Just one of the many reasons why I love what I do, I can pick and choose colours that match my mood, match something that I saw that day. Honestly the sky is limit when it comes to colour combinations.

Back to my card!

Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone! A couple of weeks ago now, I went to a fun filled day of making Christmas Cards with a whole bunch of other amazing women. We made 8 cards in total, plus we also learned about new techniques. So, for the next couple of days I will be showing you the cards that we made. You are going to LOVE them!

winter wishes

This card fold is called Frame in Frame. I did make a mistake with it (glued the wrong side, oops!), however it was all fixed and you can't tell! (I'm not the only one who glued it down wrong!).

We used the new stamp set Winter Wishes. I think this is one of my favorite Christmas ones. The greeting/sentiment I believe is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

embellished ornaments

This card fold is a gate fold with a belly band and the edges were punched using the new Curvy Corner Trio Punch. Stamp sets used are Cozy Christmas and Embellished Ornaments.

Well that's all for today. I will have more to show you in the next couple of days!

Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions let me know!

Wetlands and Teeny Tiny Wishes

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. The weather was beautiful here. Did you get any crafting done?

For Today's card I thought I would bring out one of my old favorites that I haven't used in a long time. So happy that I found the inspiration to get it out again. I absolutely love the sandpipers!

teeny tiny wishes

I first stamped the sandpipers in Momento Black on my watercolour paper, then I mixed Marina Mist and Pear Pizzazz together for the water and painted with my aqua painter. Clean and simple!

I am really pleased with how this turned out, especially with the sandpipers as the main focus.
