Swirly Bird 5!

Hi Everyone! Okay, this is the last day that I am going to post a card using the new stamp set Swirly Bird. 

Okay, this one technically doesn't use the Swirly Bird stamp set. It does however use the Thinlits that match. Swirly Scribbles!

I am sure I got my inspiration for this card from one I saw on Pinterest. However, I can't find it anymore! 

I was going to use the retired Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder on the Whisper White background. However, I am liking the simplicity of it without.

I know the Itty Bitty Punches have been retired and they don't seem to be returning with anything like them, so instead you could use the flower from the Swirly Bird stamp set.

Garden in Bloom Birthday

Hi Everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 

Did anyone have time to craft? Did you get new craft stuff for Christmas? I did! I got a Colour Caddy #1043365 and a spiny thing (from Michael's) that holds my bone folder, adhesive, scissors, etc.

Today's card, is all about pink and purple! First I stamped the flowers, then cut them out by hand (also known as fussy cutting). Adhered them with a dimensional, and added an itty bitty punched flower to the center and a rhinestone. 

I stamped the flower stems in Old Olive, making sure to leave enough space for my flowers to look good. Then, I added the bow to finish it off.

Paper: Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo

Inks: Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo

Stamps: Garden in Bloom

Accessories: Melon Mambo Cotton Ribbon, Glue Dot, Rhinestones, scissors (to cut out the flowers), Dimensionals, Itty Bitty Punches (retired)

Circle of Spring and Made For You

Hi Everyone! I finally used my Circle of Spring Stamp set with the coordinating Framelit. I know what took me so long! I saw a similar card out there in Pinterest land and thought it was about time I used mine.

Looking at this now, I certainly could have used it on Wednesday for a Remembrance Day card. There is always next year!

Tea Light Holder

Hi Everyone! Today, I have a fun little project to share with you. This really cute Tea Light Holder. They will be given to my daughters teachers at the end of the school year as a little thank you gift. You could always give them at a wedding shower, baby shower, Mother's Day gift, Thank You to a neighbour or friend. The possibilities are endless!

I made them using little containers that we got at Lee Valley Tool (here in Canada). They are called Watchmaker's cases, (for this project I used the size E case). They come in all different sizes.

Guess what! I made a video tutorial! Hope you like it and it inspires you to make one or something like it. 

Here is one that I made just a little differently. You can cover them anyway you would like, and of course you can put anything you like inside!

Sheltering Tree 2

Hi Everyone! Today, I have for you a card we made at my January Stamp club (if you would like more information about it, I can be reached at stampingwithmarsha@gmail.com). This one is a little different, a 5" x 5" square. I haven't made one in a long time. Of course I made the envelope using the Envelope Punch  Board! (If you don't have one, I suggest you get one. You can make more than just envelopes!) Here is my card, a Thank you!

Card Supplies:

Pear Pizzazz cardstock: 5" x 10" score @ 5"

So Saffron cardstock: 4.75" x 4.75"

Whisper White cardstock: 4.5" x 4.5"

scrap So Saffron cardstock: punched using the 1.25" scallop punch

scrap Whisper White cardstock: punched using the 1" circle punch

Accessories: Ribbon (Pear Pizzazz), Itty Bitty Punch (retired), Pearls, Glue Dots, Dimensionals (under the scalloped greeting)

Stamps: Sheltering Tree,

Inks: Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Crumb Cake
