Throwback Thursday!

Hi Everyone! Yep, it's that time of the week again! Throwback Thursday!

It's called 'So Many Scallops'.

I believe this set was a Sale-A-Bration many years ago.

Can you see the possibilities!!???

I stamped the flowers then punched them out using the 1 3/4 scallop punch.

Is your Garden in Bloom?

Hi Everyone! So... that retiring list is LONG!!! But, don't worry the new catalogue is worth it - trust me!!

What have you picked off the list? My first choices where the rest of the circle punches that I did not have (only about 2 of them). I just can't wait to get my hands on the NEW stuff!

Anyways... today's card is a bright and cheery one, I needed a little brightness on these dark, cold and dreary Spring days (it almost feels like fall!).

Tiny tags, hello, happy birthday

I just love my dimensionals! Some under the squares and under the cute little tag.

Garden in Bloom Birthday

Hi Everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Did anyone have time to craft? Did you get new craft stuff for Christmas? I did! I got a Colour Caddy #1043365 and a spiny thing (from Michael's) that holds my bone folder, adhesive, scissors, etc.

Today's card, is all about pink and purple! First I stamped the flowers, then cut them out by hand (also known as fussy cutting). Adhered them with a dimensional, and added an itty bitty punched flower to the center and a rhinestone.

I stamped the flower stems in Old Olive, making sure to leave enough space for my flowers to look good. Then, I added the bow to finish it off.

Garden in Bloom and Express Yourself

Hi Everyone! Today's card, is all about the same, yet different. Confused?

I took the same stamp set and same layout, but made 3 different cards (sort of!). Ok, I changed up the colours and greetings!

express yourself, stampin up

Sometimes when you change the ink colour you change the mood of the card. To me that is what is going on here. The Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant card is calming, hence the sentiment 'always thinking of you'. While the Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso is cheery and the Cherry Cobbler and Smokey Slate is rich.

Happy Everything and Garden in Bloom

Hi Everyone! Today's card is a soft one, by that I mean the colours that I used: Coastal Cabana and Blushing Bride.

I think these two colours look lovely together, I am very please with how it turned out.

happy everything

I curled the banner to give it more dimension and added a little piece of Blushing Bride ribbon to the Coastal Cabana ribbon to pull it all together. Then added the teeny tiny pearls all over.

Garden in Bloom and Petal Potpourri

Hi Everyone! Today's card is about making someone feel special on their Birthday or any time at all! Sometimes we need a reminder of how special we are to someone or that someone is thinking about us!

garden in bloom stampin up, petal potpourri

The colours are Mossy Meadow and Delightful Dijon. For some reason the flower looks really orange in the first photo.

Again, I wanted dimension to my card, I guess that is no surprise now is it!? The flower has a few dimensionals under it and I also added one for the center of the flower. Hope you like it!

Garden in Bloom and Tin of Cards

Hi Everyone! Today's card is a Thank you card. This one is a little different, not because it's a thank you card, because I wanted to try out different colour combinations. If you haven't tried randomly picking out colours you should try it. It certainly gets you thinking!

garden in bloom stampin up, tin of cards

For this card the colours are Wisteria Wonder and Watermelon Wonder. All W's kinda weird and not on purpose! Oops, I did use black momento too.

The thank you is punched out using the note tag punch with dimensionals added to the back of course. Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions let me know!

Garden in Bloom Birthday

Hi Everyone! How are we today? Fall has finally hit us this week. It's freezing here, I actually had to turn on the furnace! And everyone's sick!! Moving on...

Today's card is using the stamp set Garden in Bloom with the beautiful Brick Wall embossing folder. Don't you just love fall colours! I used Elegant Eggplant, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Always Artichoke (the bee is Crushed Curry).

garden in bloom stampin up

I cut out all the flowers and added some dimensionals to them. The Cherry Cobbler one has 2 dimensionals on top of one another, while the other flowers only got one. I wanted that flower to stand out a little more so that the other ones could fit under (make sense?).

garden in bloom stampin up

For the brick wall I took my sponge dabber with crumb cake and lightly rubbed across the bricks. I didn't want too much colour on them, just enough to give it some dimension. Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions let me know!

Garden in Bloom

Hi Everyone! Today's card is all about the new set Garden in Bloom. It has 20 stamps in this set! Oh, the possibilities are endless. I was also really impressed with how easy they were to line up, since they are a two step stamp if you want.

garden in bloom stampin up

And these colours together (Lost Lagoon, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz, and Smoky Slate) are awesome! Okay, I'll be honest, I REALLY like the colour Lost Lagoon! Weird since my go to colours are usually found in the brights family.

I think the new washi tape punch made for a prefect tag on this card.
