Affectionately Yours Birthday!

Hi Everyone! How was your summer? I miss my kids already, how about you?

Some exciting news to share with you... I am giddy with excitement... I can hardly wait to tell you! ... I have opened my very own Etsy Shop! Exciting or what??

It is for you to be able to purchase any of my cards that you see here!

I have a button on the right side bar so that you can go directly to my Etsy Shop any time you want to shop away! (To tell you the truth I am still a little nervous about it all. Do you know how hard it is to describe your card or project!? Feel free to leave me a message here with any suggestions.).

On to my card, because that is why you stopped by isn't it!!?

This one is using the beautiful new Affectionately Yours DSP and the greeting is from Tin of Cards. It has elegant copper flower accents all over it!

The colours are: Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Watermelon Wonder, and Affectionately Yours DSP.

Happy Birthday, Affectionately Yours DSP

See those copper flower accents? Just beautiful!

Happy Birthday, Affectionately Yours DSP

It needed a little something extra and the Linen thread did the trick!

I know the Starburst Framelits have been discontinued, but that doesn't mean you can't use them!

I sponged around the edges of the circle, only a little bit. I didn't want too much ink to show, just enough to blend the circle and starburst together.

Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions let me know!

Happy Stamping!

Happy Birthday with Tin of Cards

Hi Everyone! Today's card is a Birthday card with inspiration from the annual Stampin' Up! catalog again. Seriously, if you are stuck in a rut, (which happens to all of us at times) or need a little someone on your card, but can't quite figure out what that should be, look at the catalog! Amazing ideas in there!!!

The colours are Basic Grey and Mint Macaron (again I was trying different colours together). To my surprise this is one of my favorite cards.

I curled up the edges of the banner and added dimensionals under the deco label framelit, added baker's twine, rhinestones and a button to finish it all off. Hope you like it!

Mini Treat Bag for Halloween

Hi Everyone! Today I have for you a little Halloween project. Don't worry it's not too complicated or too easy. Just perfect actually!

I knew I wanted to use the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit for some Halloween goodies for my family. We don't do too much here for Halloween. So this is the perfect size treat for them.

mini treat bag stampin up, good greetings

While you have the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit on your paper, I added a circle framelit because I wanted to make the front a pumpkin. That way you don't have to run it through twice. Then I made a circle frame using 2 Circle Framelits (in Pumpkin Pie) and attached it with adhesive. The stem is actually from the Wonderful Wreath Framelit in Baked Brown Sugar. The leaf is from Quickcuts in Garden Green.

I put my goodies in a cellophane bag and added some black ribbon. Hope you like it!

Happy Stamping!

Disclaimer: I LOVE all of Stampin' Up!'s stuff, but I already have some Halloween stamp sets and since we really don't go all out for Halloween I decided to spend my money on other things in the catalog. Plus I have a lot of things that are retired that I need to use up, which also gives you ideas on how to use up the products that you already have too.
