Gently Falling!

Hi Everyone! Today's, card is a 'Thinking of You' card. However, since I didn't put a greeting on the front, you could make it for whatever occasion you want.

I absolutely love the Gently Falling stamp set. It reminds me so much of Fall/Autumn here in Canada. It is so beautiful when the leaves change colours. I know what you're thinking, its finally really nice weather and I'm thinking about Fall - stop that! Back to the card.

If you don't have this set, I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, it is retiring! Well worth your money to invest in this one. You get 12 stamps in the set. Outline of 4 leaves, Middle of 4 leaves, plus outline and middle of an acorn, and outline and middle of the Maple Leaf seeds (we call them helicopters).

Itty Bitty Flowers!

Hi Everyone! Okay, this is the last card that I have for you that I made for my good friend. I completely CASEd this one too! At least I can admit it right!? And I used the same colours that they did! They did such a great job! I did change some things about it. I used a different Embossing folder, (not sure if the one I saw even used an embossing folder), and I added the little ribbon on the side. Other than that they are the same. I love that the little flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (say that 3 times fast!) fits perfectly with this stamp set.

I used Whisper White as my card base, then layered with Old Olive (embossed with the Perfectly Polka Dots Embossing folder), Night of Navy, then Whisper White to stamp on.

The stamp set is "Thoughts and Prayers". I stamped with beautiful leaves in Old Olive and the greeting in Night of Navy. I Punched out the little flowers in Daffodil Delight, attaching them with Glue Dots. To finish it off I put Rhinestones in the centers of the flowers. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Thinking of You

Hi Everyone! This is another one that I made for my good friend. I completely CASEd this design. I thought it was just so beautiful! You could use it for a Wedding Card, Bridal Shower, Birthday, Thank You, etc! You can literally pick any colour combination that you choose!

The card base is Whisper White, layered with Crumb Cake, then another layer of Whisper White to stamp on. I punched out the flowers using the Petite Petals Punch, then I sponged the edges of the flowers to give them colour. The back ground is stamped using Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Marina Mist with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. The center of the flowers are punched out using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (retiring). The ribbon is Crumb Cake, and the greeting is also stamped in Crumb Cake. I used the smallest pearls for the centers of the flowers.

Thinking of You!

Hi Everyone! A couple of weeks ago a good friend ordered 5 "Sympathy" cards and 3 "Thinking of You" cards. So, for the next couple of days I am going to show you some of the cards I made for her.

This one has a Very Vanilla card base, layered with Early Espresso, then Very Vanilla to stamp on. I started with Baked Brown Sugar ink first, then Marina Mist, and finally Old Olive. I did stamp off once to get the lighter look. The Tree is stamped in Early Espresso, along with the greeting on the 7/8 cotton ribbon. I then tied an Early Espresso ribbon around the cotton to pull it all together. The ribbon is attached with glue dots.
