Today's card is using the new stamp set Love & Affection with the new Blooms and Bliss DSP.

This is a very soft and subtle card. You could use for any occasion: Birthday, Wedding, Just Because, etc.

I used the tiniest pearls for those little clusters.

Dandelions...

Hi Everyone! Ever see a card and KNOW that you just have to re-create it. However, when you go and try, it doesn't work out! Ya, you know what I mean! 

For me that is the dandelion card made from the Balloon Celebration stamp set. 

I have tried and tried! I was about to give up (ok, not really!), when I decided to give it one more (maybe 3 more) tries. 

I am finally happy with this one!

Look, it really worked this time! It actually looks like a dandelion!

You can't tell from the photos, but I used our Shimmery White Cardstock. If I had Wink Of Stella, I would have added that as well. I really wanted a magical feel to this card.

Graffiti!

Hi Everyone! I am so excited to share this card with you today! I made it look like graffiti!

I had the Whisper White with the Brick Wall already embossed and I had planned on using the stamp set Work of Art - which gave me graffiti! 

Isn't it cool!??

Throwback Thursday!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Throwback Thursday. This is the day that I get to show you a card/project made from completely retired stamp sets. 

Today's card is using the Just B stamp set, from 2008. 

It has 12 stamps, with 9 of them coordinating with the big letter B, and a pretty little flower for fun! 

Can you SEE the possibilities!!???

Don't you just love these colours together!

(Not sure where my flower is from, I found it in the same case, hmmm...)

The CUZ has 2 Dimensionals on one side and 1 on the other, because the B already has Dimensionals underneath. This way it makes it level and more uniform.

Tone on Tone

Hi Everyone! I have never tried this before, but I am very please with the results! I did a Tone on Tone card. 

The colour is Island Indigo. See how pretty it is! 

I honestly didn't think it would turn out this nice. 

You can't really tell from the photos, but the white is heat embossed. I am so pleased with how it turned out!

Hi Everyone! We are having such nasty weather around here, you would never know it is Spring time! However, it's perfect crafting weather! Have you made anything? I did, lol!

The other day, a friend was saying that she needed cards to pick up people's spirits. This got me to thinking that a nice cheery "Just Because" card would be perfect for that!

Wouldn't you love to receive one too? I know I would.

As you can see I used Dimensionals under the pear and under the Deco Label Framelit. I just love my Dimensionals!

I also used some under the "Just Because" sentiment.

Just Because...

Hi Everyone! Inspiration for today's card comes from the Sale-A-Bration catalog on page 18.

I used our Shimmer White cardstock to water colour the Wisteria Wonder. As you can see it is not as white as out Whisper White cardstock. 

I love how simple and elegant this card is. Sometimes you need that!

Flowering Fields

Hi Everyone! For today's card I am using one of the FREE stamp sets you can get through Sale-A-Bration right now (need more information please send me a message).

If you like to colour than this is a stamp set for you! I also added Wink of Stella and it looks amazing! It adds just the right amount of glitter.

I was going to put a bow on this card, however there is absolutely no room for one. So, I just went with a ribbon running through the back.

The squares are popped up with dimensionals. The Pearls on each square ties it all together.

A Dozen Thoughts

Hi Everyone! Today is Remembrance Day here in Canada. I am so Thankful for the Freedom that I have, because of the sacrifice so many have made for me and my Country. God Bless You All!

Today's card reminds me a lot of Remembrance Day, maybe because it is red and white, with a little grey and black. 

For both cards I used the same technique. I took the lighter coloured ink and stamped it right on my clean clear block, then the darker colour on top of that. Then I sprayed some water on the block with my Spritzer, then pressed the block down on to my paper. I did try watercolour paper too, but I liked the look of our regular Whisper White cardstock.
