Thinking of you!

Hi Everyone! Today's card is a request from a great friend. She saw the one I posted with the little froggies and asked if I could make one using Fire Flies. 

Of course I can I said! I hope she likes it!

The Fire Flies are between 2 sheets of acetate. I wanted them to be able to move around. The are sealed together with Glue Dots.

Aren't they cute!! The are also embossed and the little tails are coloured in.

Foxy Friends

Hi Everyone! So, this is my first attempt at playing with the new Foxy Friends stamp set. It is ridiculously cute!

While the card isn't perfect, I am still pretty happy with it. I even masked stuff off! You should be proud! lol!

While I do need to work on my masking off skills, I still think it turned out pretty good.

Pedal Pusher!

Hi Everyone! I know I have said this before, but I just have to tell you again! I LOVE the stamp set Pedal Pusher! I know it's retired, but there is just something about it...

This card is 4" x 4 1/2". I wanted something small, but not too small. 

I LOVE how this turned out! This was my THIRD attempt! I know hard to believe, but it's true. 

The first one the clouds had an awful colour to them, like the stamp set wasn't cleaned and I didn't like the colours I choose for the bike.

The second one the greeting got smudge when I stamped it! Grrrr...!!!

This is the third one! 

I didn't want to stamp the bike again so I just cut it out from the second card. 

Can you see the shadow because the bike has Dimensionals?? I love that!

I stamped off the clouds with this card too. I wanted the bike to be the main focus.

Hi Everyone! Today's card is about a Thank you card for my dad's neighbour, who cut's his grass all summer. We are very thankful for them.

Had to add the little birdies, they are from the stamp set Pedal Pusher (retired). I couldn't decide what colour I wanted to make them: blue, red, or yellow. Or I could have made one of each! lol

I put the greeting for this card on the inside. I just couldn't find the right spot on the outside of the card for it.

Don't you just love the little blue bird in the tree? Makes me think of Spring!

Sheltering Tree and Celebrate today

Hi Everyone! Today's card is a fall Birthday card. Don't you just love the colours of fall? Here in Southern Ontario the leaves change to the most beautiful colours. Right now there is a beautiful Maple Tree that I can see from my window that have these colours of leaves. 

The colours are Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, and Crushed Curry. 

I wanted more dimension to the card so I made sure that the Happy Birthday Banner was curled. In order to keep it that way, I put glue dots under the parts that aren't raised (make sense?). So it looks like wave.

Little Thank you Card

Hi Everyone! I know it's been a really long time since I posted anything (over a month, can you believe it!!!). Life just got the better of me (with kids, a hubby and parents that need you, times flies by!)

Enough of the blah blah blah, let's get to my card! It's a little Thank You card to match the pretty little tea light holders that I will be giving to my daughters teachers at the end of the school year.

Sheltering Tree 5

Hi Everyone! Today is the last day of the Sheltering Tree cards. Hope you aren't sick of them! Instead I hope you have found inspiration to make more! The last one I have for you is a happy one. Full of bright colours. Maybe it will remind you of spring! Here in Ontario, Canada it has been EXTREMELY cold this winter! I don't mind the snow (actually we love it), but the -40 cold we could do without! Anyway, back to my card...

The DSP I used for this one is from the New Occasions catalog called Painted Blooms DSP. The colour is Daffodil Delight, however I think you could use any of our (Stampin' Up!'s) yellows (except maybe So Saffron, a little too light).

Hi Everyone! Today, I have for you a card we made at my January Stamp club (if you would like more information about it, I can be reached at stampingwithmarsha@gmail.com). This one is a little different, a 5" x 5" square. I haven't made one in a long time. Of course I made the envelope using the Envelope Punch  Board! (If you don't have one, I suggest you get one. You can make more than just envelopes!) Here is my card, a Thank you!

Hi Everyone! For the next couple of days I am going to be showing you some of the cards I have made using the Sheltering Tree stamp set from the the new Occasions catalog. I want to show how you can use this stamp set for many different occasions. Let's start off with a happy one!

I made a double bow! I found a video on YouTube of a women showing you how to make one. (Unfortunately, I forgot to write her name down!) 

Card supplies:

Whisper White cardstock: 5.5" x 8.5" score @ 4.25"

Pacific Point DSP: 4" x 5.25"

Whisper White cardstock: 3.75" x 5" (emboss using the Woodgrain embossing folder)

Pacific Point cardstock: 3.25" x 3.75"

Whisper White cardstock: 3" x 3.5" 

Ribbon: enough to go around twice and then a double bow separate

scrap Pacific Point cardstock: punch using the 1 1/4" scallop punch

scrap Whisper White cardstock: greeting from the stamp set Fabulous Phrases, punch using the 1" circle punch

scrap Whisper White stamp small butterfly (Papillon Potpourri), punch out using the small butterfly punch
