Hi Everyone! Unfortunately, every once in a while we need to make/give/receive Sympathy cards. We all hate to make them, but I would rather give one that I have made than a store bought one. I think it's more personal.

Birthday Blossoms

Hi everyone! Today's card is using the gorgeous stamp set Birthday Blossoms. I have been eyeing this set in the catalog for some time now. I finally just ordered it. I have no idea why I waited!!

This is a sad one, but you can certainly change the sentiment/greeting to whatever you want. (I unfortunately needed another sympathy one.)

The colours are Rose Red, Old Olive and Momento Black. I will certainly be using this stamp set a lot!

So sorry!

Hi everyone! It's been forever hasn't it! Sorry about that. Summer just kinda snuck up on me and the kids were home, etc. Anyway, enough of the blah blah blah! I'm back, so that is all that matters! 

Today's card for you is a sad one! My really good neighbour had to let her beloved cat go to animal heaven the other day. So sad! She had her for about 12 years. 

The cat stamp and the paw print are not Stampin' Up!. They were the only ones that I have with a cat.

Normally I would have given her flowers or a baked good of some kind, but I just didn't have anything. My wonderful daughter suggested that I give her homemade potato chips. 

She absolutely loved them! Made her day (which of course we were happy about)!

Sheltering Tree 4

Hi Everyone! Today's Sheltering Tree is a little sad (the greeting/sentiment). I wanted to show you how you can change the mood of the tree just by changing the ink colours. While still beautiful, it doesn't have to be bright and cheery.

Card Supplies:

Lost Lagoon cardstock: 5.5" x 8.5" score @ 4.25"

Smokey Slate cardstock: 4" x 5.25"

Whisper White cardstock: 3.75" x 5"

Inks: Pear Pizzazz, Smokey Slate, Lost Lagoon, Early Espresso
