Summer Silhouettes

Hi Everyone! Sorry, for not posting in a while. The weather here was so gorgeous, that I just needed to spend time with my family! Hope you don't mind!

Today, I have for you 2 cards using the same stamp sets: Summer Silhouettes and Perfectly Penned (retiring).  Did I tell you how much I really LOVE Summer Silhouettes!? Inspiration for the cards came from spending time outdoors with my family.

I used the same colours for both of the cards. (I'll list everything that I used at the bottom of this post). This one opens to the right.

 

This one opens from the bottom. It reminds me of a bouquet of Summer flowers.

 

 

Here they are together. As you can see, they both are completely different cards, yet I used the same stamp sets.

Paper: Sahara Sand, Pistachio Pudding, So Saffron, Whisper White

 

Inks: Pistachio Pudding, So Saffron, Black Stazon

 

Stamp Sets: Summer Silhouettes, Petite Petals, Perfectly Penned (retiring)

 

Accessories: Petite Petals Punch, Pearls, Glue Dots, Ribbon, Sponge

Birthday Bookmark!

Hi Everyone! Today, I have for you something really cool! Okay, I think it's cool! A card that has a detachable bookmark! Cool or what? A card with double purpose! Love it!

As you can see, the card is a regular size (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) when closed. Perfect for mailing!

 

The bookmark is detachable, because I used a perforated edge. The bookmark measures 2 inches. That's it with the pretty ribbon attached to the top, folded into the card.

 

Here is the card laid out flat. The inside of the card, where you would sign your name and a little message, is the other side. When laid out flat it measures 5 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches.

 

Stampin' Up! Supplies:

 

Paper: Pear Pizzazz, DSP, Very Vanilla

 

Inks: Black Stazon, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky, Crumb Cake

 

Stamp Sets: Bloom with Hope, Perfectly Penned (retiring), Flower on the bookmark is retiring), Gorgeous Grunge

Accessories: Sponge (for around the edges), Ribbon, Hole punch of your choice
