A Flower for all Seasons

Hi Everyone! Today's card is another one using the Brick Wall embossing folder. I love it! So much fun to mix all the colours together. This time I paired it with one of my favorite stamp sets, A Flower for all Seasons. It has been retired for some time now, but I just love it. I mean, just look at that little lady bug! Too cute!

I made the curtains by embossing another piece of vellum using a striped embossing folder, which I put under the vellum that I attached to the window frame (make sense?) and behind that is a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock because I didn't want the brick showing through.

I used dimensionals for the window frame and the flower pots, I didn't want everything to be flat. It adds more character this way. I wanted to add the sentiment to the outside, but nothing looked right. So, I just stamped the inside of the card!

I hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions let me know!

Happy Stamping!

A Flower for All Seasons

Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by! Today I have for you a CAS(e) that I did. Sometimes you see a card and it is love at first site. That was me with this card/layout. I orignially found it on Pinterest, the talented Karen Giron designed it. Her ideas are so fresh and elegant, love them!

For my card: I used the All is Calm DSP. I don't think it looks Christmasy at all. I am happy that I will be able to use the DSP for different occasions other than Christmas. The stamp set is: A Flower for All Seasons (one of my favorites - retired). I used a blender pen to colour it in. The colours are: pear pizzazz, smokey slate, soft sky, whisper white, and lost lagoon.

If you have any questions, let me know!

Anniversary

Hi Everyone! Today's, card is an Anniversary card. I have had this stamp set forever! I just can't part with it. You know, that stamp set that has been retired for about 10 years, but you love it so much, you don't want to get rid of it. That's this one for me!

The card is going to a family member who is celebrating their 17th wedding Anniversary. Her main flower was the sunflower, so I thought this would be fitting for the occasion.

This stamp set has 4 different flowers, 1 for each season. I coloured it in using my blender pen, but now that Stampin' Up! has 'Blendabilities Markers' they would be prefect for this stamp set!

Project week, DAY 3

Welcome to Day 3 of Project Week! I hope you have been enjoying them so far. I have loved making every single one!
Today I have for you a "Matchbox". It is much bigger than the ones that used to hold real matches (and a lot prettier, and safer!). Again, this one used the Envelope Punch Board. If you don't have it, I suggest that you get one! They can do so much more than just make pretty envelopes! So far, all 3 projects have been made using the Envelope Punch Board (maybe I should have called this week Envelope Punch Board!).
