Lotus Blossom

Hi Everyone! Today, I have for you a card that I did for a swap. (A swap is when you trade cards that you have made, that are all the same to other people. Usually between 10-20 people). We had to use new product either from the Sale-A-Bration catalog or the new Occasions catalog.

This is one of the free stamp sets that you can earn right now! With every $60 order from the new Occasions catalog or the regular catalog, you get one FREE item to choose from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. So much fun and so many really great things to choose from!

The supplies I used for the card are:

Paper colours: Smokey Slate for the card base, Rose Red for the second layer, then Whisper White. You can't tell in this photo, but there are 2 scored lines that run right under the flower boxes and right above the 3 rhinestones. I wish I had another photo to show the detail, less learned!

Stamp sets: Lotus Blossom, greeting is from Painted Petals

Ink: Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Smokey Slate

Accessories: Rhinestones, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, 1" Square Punch, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions let me know!~

Happy Stamping!

A Flower for All Seasons

Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by! Today I have for you a CAS(e) that I did. Sometimes you see a card and it is love at first site. That was me with this card/layout. I orignially found it on Pinterest, the talented Karen Giron designed it. Her ideas are so fresh and elegant, love them!

For my card: I used the All is Calm DSP. I don't think it looks Christmasy at all. I am happy that I will be able to use the DSP for different occasions other than Christmas. The stamp set is: A Flower for All Seasons (one of my favorites - retired). I used a blender pen to colour it in. The colours are: pear pizzazz, smokey slate, soft sky, whisper white, and lost lagoon.

If you have any questions, let me know!

Oh Happy Day!

Hi Everyone! Guess what I saw this morning? The biggest and most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen! Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me, otherwise I would have shared it with you. God is great!

The card I have for you today uses the new Flower Patch set. It certainly takes some getting used to. With the polymer stamp sets you really need something under your cardstock to help you get a nice clear image. I used my Stampin' Pierce Mat, what a difference that makes!

The colours that I used are Sahara Sand, Whisper White Daffodil Delight, Black Stazon, Crisp Cantalope, Strawberry Slush. Old Olive, Certainly Celery (retired), Coastal Cabana. I think the rhinestones just finished it off. Enjoy!

The Most Wonderful time of the Year! Sale-A-Bration!!

Hi Everyone! It's that time of year, Sale-A-Bration time! So exciting! Have you seen the catalog? If not, you can find it here. So many great things to choose from!

Also, the Occasions catalog has come out too! More amazing new products. If you haven't seen that one, you can find it here.

Today, I have for you a Birthday card that I made for one of my customers. There are 3 of us that have Birthdays in January. What a great month! For this card I used a flower stamp that goes all the way back 2004, which I borrowed from a friend. The flower is so beautiful! The greeting is from the Endless Birthday Wishes, photopolyer stamp set.

The card base is Daffodil Delight, with Whisper White, and Daffodil Delight DSP as the main layers. The ribbon is also Daffodil Delight. Another reason why I love Stampin' Up! so much is that they coordinate everything for you. You don't have to go searching for the right colour. It's all right there in their catalogs, easy peasy! For the flower, I wanted the yellow to stand out a little more, so I used Hello Honey instead of Daffodil Delight. The flower stem is in Old Olive, and the greeting is just Black Stazon. I added the pearls for an elegant touch. Hope she likes it!
