Moroccan Birthday

Hi Everyone! Don't you just love our (Stampin' Up!'s) Designer Series Paper! You can do so much with it! It can be used for: gift wrap, making tags, making boxes, making cards, any sort of paper project you can think of! The added bonus is that everything is coordinated to match everything. That means all the colours that you see on the DSP (Designer Series Paper) we have matching cardstock for! No more guessing or coming really close to matching the colours.

Since we are coming into the fall season around here, I thought the Moroccan DSP would be perfect to make a Birthday card.

Happy Birthday, Moroccan, masculine,

Just look at that rich brown (Early Espresso)!

The colours are Early Espresso, Delightful Dijon, Very Vanilla, and Emerald Envy.

Of course I used Dimensionals! I think I just might be Queen of the Dimensionals! lol

DSP and Butterfly Basics

Hi Everyone! Grey, foggy and miserable here so far today... great day for crafting!

Today's card has come from one that I saw on Pinterest. To be honest I am not one that uses DSP on my cards very often. I find it to be too busy most of the time, however I think this worked out really well. Plus it goes with the really grey day!

butterfly basics

Whisper White cardstock for the base, with layers of DSP (Basic Grey and Basic Black). I used the Banner Triple punch for the sentiment, and the little white flags are made using the small Banner punch. Then I added the button and Bakers Twine.

Took me while to figure out which DSP went where, because like I mentioned earlier that I don't usually put DSP on my cards. DSP = Designer Series Paper

Sprinkles of Life - with my daughters help!

Hi Everyone! For today's card, I had a little help from... my daughter! She picked out the stamp set and the colours. I picked the design layout, well sort of. I got to pick the Oval Framelit! The rest is all her.

express yourself

She wanted the Birthday greeting on a banner under the tree.

I used dimensionals under the oval and under the leaves of the tree, as well as the little birdie!

I think we make a great team!
