Swirly Thank you!

Hi Everyone! It's official, today is the last day of school here! Let the summer vacation begin!! I hope you all have crafty plans for the summer! (This year during the summer I will only be posting 3 days a week instead of 6. I hope you all understand!)

Today is all about thanking the wonderful teacher's out there that do such a great job with our kids!

Not sure about you, but Swirly Bird is one of those stamp sets that are completely out of my comfort zone. Because you mostly random stamp which is not my thing! Getting better at it though!

I completely cased this one! Yep, I did! 

See those small gold dots?? There are embossed! Cool or what!? I made them using this really cool Versa Marker that one of my customers gave me for Christmas! Thank you!

We made this teacher an Aromatherapy bracelet too! 

As you can see I tried to make the card have the same colours as the bracelet. I think it worked out great! 

Of course this pretty little bracelet needed a pretty little package. It was supposed to be the same package as the other Aromatherapy Bracelet that we made for another teacher, however I forgot one score line. So, it turned into this!

I stamped all over the Whisper White cardstock. I changed it a little from the card.

It's a triangle box with no sides! Pretty cool eh? I love how everything turned out!

Confession... I completely forgot to take a picture of the card and the package together! Can't now because the teacher already has their gift! Oops!

Teacher Thank You Gift!

Hi Everyone! It's Monday! Hard to believe another weekend is behind us! I spent the weekend enjoying my family, how about you?

Since summer vacation will soon be upon us, I will be taking a break from Blogging 6 days a week. Don't worry, I will still be sending out new blog posts, only 3 days a week from July until September. I really need this time with my family, hope you all understand!

It's all about Thanking our wonderful teachers, they do such an amazing job with our kids.

I forgot to take a picture of the card and the treat bag all by it's self! Oops!

I know many of you are curious as to what we put inside that little treat bag...

An aromatherapy bracelet that we (my daughter and I) made ourselves! Super easy and fun too! 

There are black lava beads on the bracelet that you can put essential oils on. Great for when you are having a very stressful day, or when you need a little pick me up. You can put whatever essential oil you want on the lava beads.

Congratulations!

Hi Everyone! Today's card is a new one for me. I have been trying to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. For some of you this isn't new and not hard at all. But, for me it was very challenging. 

I thought I had to have the images completely straight in order for it to look nice, however I think it looks great. What do think? Can you even tell that I did the background words?

I started stamping the sentiment in the middle and worked my way up, then I worked my way down. I have no idea if that is the way to do it, but it worked for me!

There are 2 dimensionals (on top of one another) under the middle star, while the outside two have just one.

Since this is a Graduation card, I needed a little gift bag to go with it. You can find the instructions here.

 You would be surprised a what you can actually fit in that cute little treat bag!

Sweet Cupcake!

Hi Everyone! I have to be honest, this card took me forever to make! I had trouble with the layering and the colours. 

I think I have finally got the hang of it. 

It wasn't easy. 

I think I spent 2 days trying to make it work and look good!

This one is based on the design from the one in the catalogue.

It's hard to believe that each Cupcake has 6 colours or 6 layers to it! You start with the lightest colour first, which is usually the fuller stamp image.

Throwback Thursday!

Hi Everyone! Yes, that time of week again, Throwback Thursday! However, the card I have for you today may not technically be a Throwback Thursday one! You see, I used one of our NEW stamp sets with this oldie but a goodie.

I know I have featured it quite a few times, but how could I resist!!!?? I think they go together so well! They were almost mode for one another!

After I photographed this I put Crystal Effects on the frogs. I makes a big difference! I might even put googly eyes on them!

Foxy Friends

Hi Everyone! So, this is my first attempt at playing with the new Foxy Friends stamp set. It is ridiculously cute!

While the card isn't perfect, I am still pretty happy with it. I even masked stuff off! You should be proud! lol!

While I do need to work on my masking off skills, I still think it turned out pretty good.
