Sweet Cupcake!

Hi Everyone! I have to be honest, this card took me forever to make! I had trouble with the layering and the colours. 

I think I have finally got the hang of it. 

It wasn't easy. 

I think I spent 2 days trying to make it work and look good!

This one is based on the design from the one in the catalogue.

It's hard to believe that each Cupcake has 6 colours or 6 layers to it! You start with the lightest colour first, which is usually the fuller stamp image. 

The ones on the end are:

Throwback Thursday!

Hi Everyone! Yes, that time of week again, Throwback Thursday! However, the card I have for you today may not technically be a Throwback Thursday one! You see, I used one of our NEW stamp sets with this oldie but a goodie.

I know I have featured it quite a few times, but how could I resist!!!?? I think they go together so well! They were almost mode for one another!

After I photographed this I put Crystal Effects on the frogs. I makes a big difference! I might even put googly eyes on them!

Foxy Friends

Hi Everyone! So, this is my first attempt at playing with the new Foxy Friends stamp set. It is ridiculously cute!

While the card isn't perfect, I am still pretty happy with it. I even masked stuff off! You should be proud! lol!

While I do need to work on my masking off skills, I still think it turned out pretty good.

Loving Dapper Denim!

Hi Everyone! We are in the final few weeks of school around here, then it's summer vacation! That also means it's time to thank the wonderful people who have taught/inspired and kept our kids safe over the school year. 

This one is for the school bus driver. Great guy, he puts up with a lot of kids twice a day!

He hinted the other day that some Chocolate Chip Cookies would be fabulous right about now! Which is great because I love to bake. 

I used the New InColour Dapper Denim. I promise that you will fall in love with this colour! I do hope they decide to keep this colour for a while.

As you can see I used absolutely no dimensionals! I know, from time to time that happens! This card just didn't need any at all.

I did stamp off the Dapper Denim and Crumb Cake once. I didn't want it full strength. (It is full strength for the sentiment).

Bella and Friends

Hi Everyone! How was your weekend? Did you get to spend time with your family celebrating Father's Day? Thankfully we did!

Last week our daughter had a cold, and was feeling under the weather. So, to cheer her up, I made her a cute little card with the new stamp set: Bella and Friends. 

Isn't she cute! It worked, it made her feel better.

Not sure that you can tell from this photo, but the little heart collar has Crystal Effects on it.

Swirly Bird 5!

Hi Everyone! Okay, this is the last day that I am going to post a card using the new stamp set Swirly Bird. 

Okay, this one technically doesn't use the Swirly Bird stamp set. It does however use the Thinlits that match. Swirly Scribbles!

I am sure I got my inspiration for this card from one I saw on Pinterest. However, I can't find it anymore! 

I was going to use the retired Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder on the Whisper White background. However, I am liking the simplicity of it without.

I know the Itty Bitty Punches have been retired and they don't seem to be returning with anything like them, so instead you could use the flower from the Swirly Bird stamp set.
